Beau Bell Still Pursuing NFL Dream

Former Cleveland Browns linebacker Beau Bell hasn't given up his dream of playing in the National Football League, Mark Anderson of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

A fourth-round pick (104th overall) out of UNLV by the Browns in 2008, Bell totaled three special teams tackles and a forced fumble in five games before landing on injured reserve with a knee injury. Bell made nine tackles last pre-season, but was waived by the Browns at the end of training camp.

Bell has been working out "24/7" since his release, and has had tryouts with the Seattle Seahawks and a pair of UFL teams.

"I haven't heard anything," Bell said. "I'm just confused, really. I don't know what I did that was so bad. I can take it if somebody had said I wasn't good enough. They haven't really given me any answers.

"It doesn't matter (which league he plays in)," Bell said. "I just want to play football."
