Bears Sign 5th Round CB Joshua Moore

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports the Chicago Bears have signed fifth-round cornerback Joshua Moore.

According to Jensen, the four-year contract includes a $198,000 signing bonus.

Chosen with the 141st overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Kansas State, the 5-11, 188-pound Moore tallied 175 tackles and six interceptions during his 37-game career with the Wildcats. Moore started the final 24 games his college career after being ruled academically ineligible for the 2007 season.

Moore was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection in 2008 and 2009, and ran a 4.5-40 with a 10'2" broad jump at the Combine. Moore is an aggressive player, but will need to improve his upper body strength after managing just two reps on the bench press at the Combine.

Moore is the second of the Bears' five picks in the 2010 NFL Draft to sign a contract, joining seventh-round offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb, who signed on Sunday.
