The bengals cut willie today and I think that the packers should pick em up, what do we got to lose? He was a probowler 2 years ago and we could use a tackle right about now. Hell we could make him play DT too

Yea thats what I was thinkin.. He never takes any risks, the only good thing he's done since he's been here was getting Ryan Grant

Woodson and Pickett my disagree with that statement.

All of the Packer fans clamoring for a veteran back-up QB might also take issue with the statement that Thompson never takes any risks.

Thompson takes risks. Justin Harrell anyone? no - jk good call on Woodson and Pickett- I would also add Marquand Manuel and Koren Robinson..the man does take risks- it's almost impossible not to as a GM

Yeah I guess I forgot that thompson brought those guys in.. But I'm with you on the whole Backup QB deal, I'd rather keep the rookies then bring in a vet.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

I've had the theory for a while that the teams that are constantly building to be better in 3 years, are usually the ones that are better right now.  The teams like the Vikings and the Redskins that are constantly building to be better right now are usually the ones that are not very good.

Just an observation.

Yeah I kind of agree with that,I thought that last year when everybody was saying the lions were going to be good and win at least ten, and we were supposed to maybe finish 9-7 and hopefully make the playoffs.

Yeah I was going to mention the Moss thing but thought everybody was sick of hearing about it. But that is what I was referring to.

Dude, I was just chatting with a friend about the same matter. I know Ted like his drafts but i think it
would be quite a pick up.

Yep, especially considering no one can stay healthy on the GBP's roster.

Pretty sure TT took a risk when he used our first round pick 2 years ago for Harrell. The guy didn't play at all his senior year in college due to injuries, and he's injured again. Great payoff...
