Moderator, I do not know the rules of this forum, and whether or not this is an acceptable thread. So please advise before I post any links.

Anyways, Having not lived in the WI/MN area for about 7 years now, and not a directv sunday ticket subscriber, I have had to take desperate measures to make sure I get to see some Pack games. I have found a couple places online where you can watch some games, while not in the best quality they are better than nothing. I have also found a couple of sites that broadcast the audio for the games.

Depending on the Moderators response, I would be happy to share with you folks, and would love to have some more suggestions from the rest of you.

*whoops put this in the wrong section, please move to Packers on the Web.  Wink *

Stretch-

That would be great if you want to post places to watch games. Feel free. It's probably better if you post by game.    cheese

Alright, just wanted to make sure- copyright infringements, NFL getting underpants in a twist, blah blah blah...

Anyways, let me make sure the software and sites i used last season are still valid before I send ya'll on a wild goose chase.

The one 100% legal site I can give you is NFL.com and NBC sports- they are broadcasting 17 games online this season, including the GB VS. Dallas game. Looks pretty cool, multiple camera angles, real-time Q&A, wish they'd do it with all games. Here's the link

Got another one that is promising video/audio streaming this season:

http://www.channelsurfing.net/

I had a WI talk radio station site saved in my favorites that had online audio broadcasting of the game, but wiped my HDD and that went with it. When you have the radio broadcast up with NFL.com or Packers.com gametracker, it was pretty decent.

Yeah- I love having Field Pass and being able to listen to the games. I have seen a lot of links on websites like Packershome Forum and Green bay booze and Broads where they use Justin.tv but I haven't had much success with that.

I also use my Dad's slingbox so I can get the games from my computer.

well.. sometimes you can. I have seen a couple games where it's onlne and then it gets pulled...it's like guerrilla Packer fans showing games from their computer...Because streaming is a lot easier- some people hook up their tv to the net and stream from sites..

we'll see... I saw on packershome that they had some games. Again- if we find games let's start a New post for that game ok?

The hard thing about posting for each game is that many places don't give the link until right before kickoff, so as to not get pulled by the NFL right away. Many places you need software like Sopcast and TVants (freeware) and then there are sites that will give you a link right before kickoff.

I wanted to start this thread for general sites to direct people to(and hopefully find a few myself)

There is software(see above) that you can download to watch other people's broadcast of the games. Also, if you have a cable card on your PC, you can stream games for others to watch. The more people broadcasting, the better the quality. Fewer people broadcasting, and more people watching makes for crappy quality.

There are other websites with sopcast channels than just the sopcast channel guide. I'm in the process of diggin them up again. not sure how many college games are broadcasted, not as worldwide popular as the NFL.

Well friends, hopefully I started a useful thread that will provide many of you with audio and video of games you can't get. I, however, have found my oasis, and my need for such things have ended. Seems that directtv not only has sunday ticket, but for an added fee you get an add-on called SUPERFAN. This gives you all games in HD, and a bunch of other nifty features. Also, it gives you unlimited access to games online with TV quality! Turns out, my father has the package, and lets me use the online feature since he doesn't. Hooray! It really works great, so if you know anyone that has sunday ticket, you need to hit em up...
