Unfortunately I'm not going to make it to Lambeau this season but since I live in Minnesota I will be at the Pack/Vikes game at the Metrodome with a bunch of friends....all of whom are Viking fans so it should be interesting.

I'm in the U.S. Navy, now in Texas. I never got to go to any games growing up in WI/MN, got to go to a practice and stockholders meeting. But, this year for Father's Day my wife surprised me with tickets to my FIRST Pack game ever! She couldn't have done any better either, Dec. 28 against the Lions, 1st row 35 yard line, on the Pack's bench side. Can't wait to freeze my ass off! Luckily, I hear Leinie's along with cheese curds and bratwurst prevent hypothermia AND frostbite. Yayyyyyy!

Congrats! What a great, great Fathers Day present!

And I'd like to add that we here at CHTV thank you for your service to our great country.

I got tickets to the Cowboys game...I hate driving home to Chicago after a loss. Its going to be a tough win but I think we have a really great shot. We need to beat Canada's team!!

I'll be at two games at Lambeau this year.

10/19 Colts
11/16 Bears

I may try to get tickets to see the Packers at Soldier Field, but I'm not sure yet.

I was at the heartbreaking Tampa loss and have ticket to the Jags game as well.
If they go to the Super Bowl in Tampa, you'd better believe I'll be there!

Wifey got us 2 VIP tailgate tickets from titletowntickets.com for our game on dec 28th. Here's what's included:

The party will feature UNLIMITED food, beverages and entertainment including:

Tasty grilled brats, burgers, cheese, baked beans, salads, cookies and MORE!
Ice cold beer, soda and bottled water
Musical entertainment
Celebrity appearance by Fuzzy Thurston
Contests and prizes
Access to INDOOR tailgate area
Cash bar for mixed drinks

The VIP Tailgate Party includes all Standard Tailgate Party amenities listed above, PLUS:

Upgraded menu - including grilled chicken and ribs
UNLIMITED bloody Mary's and screwdrivers
Seating for all attendees
Climate controlled environment
Private indoor restrooms
Spectacular 2nd floor view of Lambeau Field
Plasma TV's to view the pre-game show or early NFL games
Access to the "outdoor" Standard Tailgate Party

Has anyone done this before? Just wondering if it's worth it. It was only $50 a person, I figure free beer and BM's for 6 hours, I will probably get my money's worth.

I will be attending the Colts game the 19th. I did the Brett Favre Steakhouse tailgate last year, and it was really good. This year, I got the Titletown Tickets tailgate like you, but I got the the standard ($25) tailgate party. I think you made the wise choice purchasing the VIP tailgate, as it will be cold in late December and the VIP party is inside.

yep, exactly what I was thinking. I'm not so much worried about me as I am the wife. She was born and raised in Steven's Point but we've been away from WI so long that she gets cold in 50 degree weather.

You should have an awesome time. Just a word of advice; as you know, all the bowl seating in Lambeau is metal bleachers, and they are REALLY cold. So make sure you rent a few seat cushions to sit on so you won't freeze your butt off. You can rent them at Lambeau. They are only $6 and you can just leave them at your seat when the game is over. Its basically a chair, with a seat back that attaches to the bleacher, so you have something to insulate yourself from the cold bleachers, and you have something to lean your back against.

Also, it may go without saying, but make sure you wear gloves and a good pair of snow boots. Have fun and stay as warm as you can!

Anyone who uses a cushion at Lambeau should be barred for life!

I jest.

All good suggestions - one that I would add is the ol' 'hand-warmer-inside-the-golves' - that and a nip of your favorite beverage. Always helps to take the edge off Smiley
