What is up with conflicting reports. This Taylor trade story has had more legs than Anna Nicole Smith in 2004.

who cares except the media?

I got real excited when I first heard this but it looks like theres no possible way that the trade will happen.. I heard that one of the many reasons is because Taylor doesnt see the packers going anywhere with Aaron Rodgers

It's kind of hard to see anything good from a new QB if you are Jason Taylor I suppose. What with Miami sucking as bad as they   have since Dan Marino left.

The Dolphins would like to trade an older player for a draft pick(s).  Common for rebuilding teams.

The Packers might want to add such a player but would like to trade "surplus" talent.  It might include a couple of WR's stuck down the depth chart, an OL, a safety, and an RB.

The Dolphins can probably find second tier talent (David "training room" Martin) but want a quality pick over quantity.

Ted just doesn't like to give up the future of a draft pick for the current value of a distracted older player.

The Dolphins over value Taylor and underestimate some of the Packers back ups.

Ted values draft picks more than other GM's and may undervalue older players.

Would Taylor really be dedicated to playing 3 years from now??

I thought we would just get him for a year. I know they want a 2 year. It's hard to pass up quality D-Linemen when your D Coordinator is Bob Sanders.
