Sounds like this packergeek is looking at a total organizational aspect of the Packers without thinking about what the fans think at all.  How horrible would it be for Favre to play on the Vikings vs the Packers at Lambeau field? horrible, You might end up having more Favre fans there then Packers fans at that point.  His legacy has a great chance at being tarnished if he joins any other team, and the Viking would be the biggest threat.  Favre needs to be given a fair chance in minicamp to compete for the starting role as our QB, it's the only fair, logical, and respectful thing to do. 

The Packers need to get some run support for Aaron Rodgers or we are going to be stuck in 1-5 hole with a qb who can't do the job while Favre is on another team probably having the time of his life...  Grant is by far the best back we've had since Ahman Green and there is no one else we can heavily trust to take the ball and get us those couple needed yards... we seem to be throwing backs away a lot in the past couple years.  What are we waiting for? They want a young team to start a new franchise, I understand that, but you need a leg to stand on first.

Maybe, just maybe, Rodgers is showing great great improvement, but they aren't saying anything cause Rodgers is so put back.  He doesn't open his mouth much, so if no one hypes his up he will be more relaxed.  I want to see Favre play against the Packers, and beat us, just so he could say he's beat every team in the NFL.  haha, GO PACKERS!

I have followed Nick Barnett through his entire career so far, and I can see he is someone who is hiding in the shadows, behind the great favre and the Packers.  If Favre left last year, the Packers Defense would have gotton a lot more credit, we kicked some major ass!  Nick Barnett continues to be a major threat in the middle, with stops, pics, and sacs! THe Packs Defense is something to be feared!

Allow Favre the chance to try out for the starting QB job, if he can't make it over the Rodgers, let him go to another team that could use him... As long as it isn't the Vikings! haha... but really, Favre has every right to play the game that brought him such prosperity throughout his life, and the Packers can't just sit back and take that away from him by not giving him a chance to be with another team.  Either accept him back into the organization, let him try out, or release him and let him go back on to the field where he belongs!
