So here we go last pre-season game. I will be conducting my fantasy draft so of course I will be listening to radio broadcast later tonight.

I actually think #5 from Demovsky is #1 (as far as tonight goes)

5. Herron, Lumpkin, Morency battle it out

Perhaps the last true battle for a roster spot is at running back, where the threesome of Noah Herron, Kregg Lumpkin and Vernand Morency are running close. In Herron and Morency, the Packers have known commodities. Herron plays smart and is assignment sure, especially as a third-down back who can effectively pick up blitzes.

Morency does the same plus is perhaps a little better with the ball in his hands. Lumpkin, the undrafted rookie from Georgia, is probably the most talented of the three but is raw. Injuries limited his playing time in college and allowed him to slip through the cracks, but the Packers made him one of their free-agent priorities. A good showing Thursday night could make him impossible to cut.

and JSONLINE gives an interesting storyline about the Titans:

Vince's world: It was supposed to be the Summer of Vince, but the way things have gone in Titans training camp it's been anything but. Quarterback Vince Young has completed just 43.2% of his passes and posted a 44.4 passer rating in three games. The No. 1 offense has not scored a touchdown under Young and was held to three points last week against Atlanta. In playing his starters into the third quarter, quarterback Jeff Fisher wants this to be the game that sets the tone for the regular season. The Packers will only play their starters about 10 plays, so Young should have a chance to build some confidence against the Packers' No. 2s. Former Packers draft pick Ingle Martin has been the top performer at quarterback for the Titans, posting an 84.8 passer rating, but he probably won't make the team. He is an option for the Packers should they decide to sign a veteran after final cuts, but he's not high on the list.

wow. what a crazy way to end it. More questions for the O-Line. Let's hope Aaron and Greg can hook up for one of those opening plays for a TD every drive. Mccarthy singled out Desmond Bishop so it looks like he's safe.

Here is a quote from the Press-Gazette article:

Flynn and Brohm played better in the second half, when Tennessee went to its backups. But as the Packers’ 266 yards in total offense suggests, it was hardly a noteworthy performance, especially since 34 of those yards came on Jon Ryan’s fake punt.

Flynn threw two touchdown passes – a 6-yard slant to Brett Swain after Will Blackmon’s interception deep in Tennessee territory, and a 22-yarder to Jake Allen on the game’s final play when Flynn kept the play alive by scrambling to his right and throwing the ball up for grabs near Allen and receiver Johnny Quinn.

But aside from Flynn’s 85-yard drive in the final 2 minutes and19 seconds, this was a bad night for the rookie quarterbacks.

Brohm had three fumbles, including one he lost in the first half that typified the mismatch along the line. On that play, both tackles, Breno Giacomini on the right side and Orrin Thompson on the left, were beaten on outside rushes by Jacob Ford and Vanden Bosch, respectively. The rushers hit Brohm simultaneously, with Ford knocking the ball free.

For the preseason, Brohm finishes 19-for-37 passing for 155 yards, no touchdowns, one interception and four sacks. Flynn was 27-for-42 for 132 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions and five sacks.

And here's what JSONLINE had to say:

In 19 series (86 snaps) in the four games, Brohm generated merely three points and 16 first downs. By comparison, Flynn produced 28 points (four touchdowns) and 16 first downs in 13 series (66 snaps).

It was Flynn's ability to make something out of nothing that put the Packers a two-point conversion away from forcing overtime. Executing a 2-minute offense with third-stringers, the seventh-round pick ran for 21 yards on third and 17 and then, as time expired, evaded the rush and threw a strike on the run to Jake Allen in the end zone for a 22-yard touchdown.

Flynn's two-point pass to Johnny Quinn in the left corner was caught but the free-agent wide receiver could get only one foot down before being legally pushed out.

I don't see how they could, Flynn looks waaay better then brohm right now. Not to take anything away from brohm since it is his rookie season but as of right now Flynn should be and I think will be the no. 2 QB.. unless daunte comes
