GB played a pretty solid 4 quarter game yesterday. No HUGE plays, but we picked up just enough rushing yards for it to be a factor. Our defense was pretty good, I liked seeing Rodgers spread the football around receiver wise. Sketchy moves on all the QB rushes with his shoulder, but he took it like a champ. Hopefully this W will be something to build off of, spank Indy then take a week off.

It's been a couple games in a row that Grant has looked good in the first quarter and then disappeared.  Conditioning?  I don't know.  I would have to think that even if he missed all of training camp he would be in shape by week six.

I continue to be amazed that Woodson has somehow not been in the Pro Bowl in the last 7 seasons.  I know he battled some injuries during that stretch, but he is such a special talent.

Nick Collins looks very solid this year.  He's hitting hard and making some big plays.  When the Packers get Bigby back that should be one hell of a defensive backfield.  Especially towards the end of the season when Williams has half a season under his belt.  I also love the handshake celebration.  Funny and clever.  "And good day to you, too, fine chap!"

I hope Rodgers shoulder gets better because we will need it against Indy.  I love the Packers to death but I have no idea how we're going to beat Indy.  It felt great to become tied for the division once again all thanks to the Falcons screwing with the Bears dreams Smiley But that was impressive for a rookie Matt Ryan.  I believe in the Pack and I believe that we can beat Indy next week.  We need Rodgers shoulder good and ready, he might not have to make big plays necessarily.  Indy doesn't have much of a defense so we can actually have a running game and without Bob Sanders we have a better chance of making it to the end zone.  We just have to cover Wayne and Harrison.  Cover them and we win.  If the Bears can do it...so can we.

Sorry, I meant rushing-wise. Read around that tidbit and you'll see.  Grin

He addressed that in his presser today. http://www.packers.com/news/releases/2008/10/13/1/

(Do you worry about running a quarterback sneak with a guy with an injured shoulder?)
I was asked that yesterday. If we felt it was a problem, I wouldn't have it in the game plan. We had it up a couple different ways, and he's actually pretty good at it. He has the ability to accelerate the crease and keeps his legs moving, and a lot of it too is the technique the quarterbacks use. I've had quarterbacks in the past who get way too high and take unnecessary shots. Based on his type of injury as far as the load of the weight and the pile falling on him, we didn't think that was a concern.

Yeah, it makes me wonder if Grant is worried about fumbling so he tells himself...dont get agressive Mccarthy like conservative sure yards...so ill just follow my blockers on this HB strectch twin wide i strong where we always motion the TE to the wrong side accomplishing nothing.  I think he cutback once 1st quarter for like a 10 yard gain.

Maybe hes happy to be where he is?  the starter of a good team after being like a nobody.  hamstring? holdout? who knows, this time last year maybe this time this year.  if he gets going...just liek last year.  WATCH OUT FOR US Smiley.  getting healthy helps too
