Yeah, Manning sure choked against the Bears in the Super Bowl...

As for Elway - you guys have no idea what you're talking about. Go back and watch The Drive. It wasn't his fault his early Bronco teams couldn't stop anybody in the Super Bowls they played in. It's not easy to play quarterback, let alone well, when the defense knows you have to throw it.

The man was amazing.

Dude it was the Bears!! My old high school football team could beat the Bears.

Dude...I know Im old at 32 but i never saw Starr play. Ever. My grandfather did. All I know is that  now that Favre is retired- i mean with the Jets it's going to be fun to have this argument

That said- Being a Packer fan I want to know even more about 1919 to now. Smiley

I agree I'm only 29, and have always thought Starr was probably the best in packer history. But in Mondern era I think Favre was by far the best QB. IMO the greatest QB to ever play the game was Montana and true I don't know everything about the history of football but from what I do know I would put Montana at the top.

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/2008/09/02/ramblings/stat-analysis/6505/

Unitas and Tittle had 'perfect' passer rating games before the rules were changed to favor the offense.

Unitas was God. (Which means that God is dead Wink)

He better not.... I don't care what Favre did he still deserves to have jersey retired in GB.. Nobody should ever wear that number again.

How can brett not be top 5? Played the most...won a SB...and has every record in the book? To me that seems like one of the best ever. I think that starting streak is the most impressive in sports. We all learned a lesson on how hard it is to do that when brady went down this weekend.
