Matt Flynn finally officially won what we all figured was the story anyway.

Mike McCarthy announced today on during his press conference.

No big surprise.

Despite what you hear from all the Nervous Pervus(es?), I think think Flynn can come in and play a vanilla offense for a game or two without making a ton of backbreaking mistakes.

But that's just me.   I laugh in the face of danger.  I never get sucked into an extended warranty and I never buy insurance when the dealer shows an ace.

From what I read, the competiton is going to remain open-ended, so Flynn better not get too comfortable in his spot. These guys are still green, Brohm made a lot of errors in the preseason, but I think he has a stronger arm than Flynn.

I agree with all but the last part. I would put their arm strength even, perhaps even give the nod to Flynn. Brohm's ball reminds me of Pennington. (That's not a good thing)
