Let's turn up the Vick rumor mill a notch. I'm hearing rumblings now about players saying that Michael is working out for the team.

Let's turn up the Vick rumor mill a notch. I'm hearing rumblings now about players saying that Michael is working out for the team.

This is of course a completely unverified rumor, but an interesting one just the same. Up to this point, most of the Vick talk had been shut down for the most part. Then an unknown party from the Lifted Research Group came out and blurted the following statement.

"Vick working out for the Packers"

I immediately asked where they had heard this information.

"Heard from a player on Packers"

Now I don't know if the players themselves are any more informed than the general public, and I of course have no way of finding out the value of the following statements. But, the party did not hesitate to put the information out there.

So, I take pause to make a note of it just the same. You heard it here second.

i agree that vick does kinda "suck" and he is "overrated"....but that's not a bad thing at all for someone who doesn't have a future as a starter in your organization....you sign him for three years, coach him up, play him against the second stringers in preseason, maybe throw him in for a few "trick plays" and watch his already "overrated" status go up even more then trade him after two years to someone who overrates him for more than he is worth....buy low, sell high
i would think he would have more value to the team as a decoy and trade potential then whoever ends up being the 53rd man on the roster

all-time greatest running QB, he'll be a backup QB people. He is a upgrade over both our backups.

LOL. Love the way these rumours never quite find a way to die. I think we can safely say that the only way Thompson would get Vick is if no one else was interested and he could get a bargain basement price for him. That aint going to happen.
