The Lock Mock

I've researched, I've analyzed, and I've got my facts together. With that information, I have finally put together my annual mock draft. As usual, this is the only Green Bay Packers mock you'll need.

Green Bay Packers Mock Draft 2010

Round One

College Guy - University of Division I

My prediction is that the Packers will take a university kid with this pick. He'll have played some football in the past, and was a standout at the college level. His combination of strength, speed, and agility is exactly what the Packers need.

Round Two

Not As Good College Guy - University of Less Prestigious

The Packers will grab another college kid in this position. Although not quite as good as the first college kid, Ted still considers him a high value in the second round. We all know this is a deep draft, and Thompson will get a steal picking this guy.

Round Three

White Guy - University of Insert Religion

The most logical pick at this point. There should be plenty of white guys available in the third, and this is the perfect time for the Packers to grab one. With most of the black guys already off the board, this white guy should still be available when the Packers are on the clock.

Round Four

Never Heard of You - University of Southern North Dakota

Right here Ted grabs that guy you never heard of. Who would have thought that Ted was going here with this pick? But, he takes that plunge in the fourth. Unknown to the average fan, and overlooked by many scouts, Ted Takes his first gamble of 2010. The fans rumble for the first time too.

Round Five

Project Upside - University of Where?

The Packers won't be able to overlook this kid in the fifth. Although he is a pure athlete and will take a few years to develop, the kid has huge upside and is a great value pick.

Round Six

Fat Guy - Burger University

With the final tier of big men coming off the board, Ted makes his move and grabs this fat guy in the sixth. With the future of the line in jeopardy, hopefully this fat kid can develop and at least provide some depth this season.

Round Seven

Donald Driver II - University of Phoenix-Online

The Packers just can't resist this kid in the seventh. From obscurity to household name in seconds, it's guaranteed that this kid is the "next Donald Driver" before he even hits the field.

I'll talk to you next Monday and see how I did.

This is the best, and likely the most acurate Mock I've ever seen. I loved the University of Phoenix Online one.

Haha-- This is the most honest mock draft I've read. Sure they're fun, but we all over-generalize when we say who's going to be taken.

Ditto Asshalo...this one's about as good as any other. They all guess, but they're almost all based on what they think a team needs, and TT usually goes best player available. All those mocks are total crap. That being said I still read them.

Can't remember if I commented on this before the draft or not. Hilarious! Loved it! The fat guy from Burger University must have been eating the "Be a Nose Tackle" happy meals that Ryan Pickett was endorsing!

Great job Alex!
