This time, the focus is the Minister of Defense, Reggie White.

Hall of Famer, All Pro, and all time great, White was a key part of the revival of the Packers in the early 1990′s. Along with Bob Harlan, Ron Wolf, and Brett Favre, White helped make the Packers a force to be reckoned with once again, culminating with a 35-21 victory in Super Bowl 31.

Gone far too young at the age of 43, his impact on the NFL and in particular the Packers is still felt to this day.

RIP Reggie.

Go Pack Go!

Since the beginning of the 2011 season, we have posted the captain’s photo from each game here under the “Say Cheese!” tag. It’s something that we look forward to every week.

It looks like NFL Films has finally caught up to us in documenting the bomb.

Recently, they posted a video documenting the photobomb efforts of a certain QB and the skill involved in such efforts. It is a great video, a nice break from the battles on the field, and a glimpse at someone who is all business on the field, but can still have a laugh just before game time.

Who knows, maybe EMC was the inspiration for filming this. If so, let us know who to contact so we can start receiving those fat royalty checks.

After giving us a video retrospective of the Packers/Bears rivalry, he returns with a fantastic video which chronicles the career of Aaron Rodgers career with the Packers.

From his waiting on draft day to be selected through the Summer of Favre to becoming a Super Bowl champ and league MVP, the journey of Rodgers has been incredible. And the best part is Rodgers has many more years left to add to his already impressive legacy.

The Chicago Bears.

The mere mention of these two football teams stirs up emotions from both fan bases. Rich in history, filled with tradition, they are the pillars of the National Football League.

It would be near impossible to begin and try to explain what the Packers/Bears rivalry is about. Words can only do so much justice. It is better to watch some of the action on the field to begin and comprehend what this 92 year old rivalry is all about.

Twitter friend Dale H Decker has put together a near 4 minute video which does an excellent job in capturing the spirit of the rivalry. Using film footage from throughout the rivalry, it is an excellent historical record of the oldest rivalry in the NFL. Check it out here:

If this does not get you psyched about the Week 2 matchup between these two teams at Lambeau Field, I would suggest watching this video again. And again. And again.

In similar fashion, a Q&A session was conducted after the film debuted in Minnesota on April 29, with Neelsen, Johnson, former Green Bay reporter and current Senior Editor at ESPN 1500 Tom Pelissero, and Cheesehead TV’s own Max Ginsberg answering questions from the audience of Packers and Vikings fans.

Both Q&A sessions offer great insight into the events over the tumultuous 3 year period from 2008-2010 from those directly involved.

I was lucky enough to meet Mat at the Cheesehead TV tweet up in Dallas last year, and look forward to hopefully rockin some Aaron Rodgers with him in Indianapolis next month!!
