Scary Stuff!

Scary Stuff!

I have to ramble on the Bears newest acquisition as well as some scary news about our Greg Jennings.

FEARING CUTLER

I was shocked to see a lot of fans are afraid of the Bears now due to their bringing in Jay Cutler. I would understand this fear if the Bears were a QB away from being really good(like the Vikings are), but the Bears need real wide receivers and not guys like Rashied David and converted corners and special team stars(maybe we should line Blackmon up at WR!). The Bears also need to address their HORRIBLE offensive line. Our offensive line was average according to gradeouts but the Bears offensive line is BAD. They’re also getting old on the offensive line. Olin Kreutz, besides being the most overrated center in football, is getting old. Bringing in ‘young’ superstar Orlando Pace won’t help. Cutler’s good but he’s not going to make up for the other problems they have.

PODCAST MANIA!

Loyal lounge lizards know I’ve been auditioning folks to be my new podcast partner. Check it out if you haven’t and leave your thoughts, which DO play a part in this!  Tyler and Andy and Bobby.

SCARIEST THING IN THE WORLD

No, this isn’t about spiders, clowns, or the almighty Bears getting Jay “crybaby” Cutler. This is about Greg Jennings saying he’s in the best shape of his life. That’s right, all the stuff he’s done so far he did as a fatty. “I’m in a lot better shape than I was last year,” God said. Now that’s scary.

BEYOND THE PICTURE

Cutler seriously does have a double chin though.

VIDEO OF THE WEEK

With “Fast & Furious” making 72 million dollars on its opening weekend, they’re already planning a sequel. This one, however, I’ll definitely see, and you should too. We should see it together…

Lol, i need that. It's snowing here. But you forgot the aging defense that is becoming quite injury prone. Now they have less draft picks to make it youthful again. Sure lovie is calling the plays now, but don't expect them to improve dramatically. In fact if their turnover rates drop-off this team is in a lot of trouble.

damn guy,

you almost gave me a heart attck with this "scary news on gregg"....F--K....phew, glad to know it's that he is going to take over the world this upcoming season and not that he saw TT walk past a mirror, and now wants out of town.

i recently was at the movie theater to watch a different movie, and afterward while my G/F was using the bathroom, i stepped into the F&F showing.... they were racing through an underground cave. retarded.

I have yet to run across any Packer fan who's afraid of the Bears, although I don't go to a lot of different boards. There are people who think the Bears will be better with Cutler, but I don't know of any who think they will win the division now that they have him.

I think Cutler will make them a better team, and that's fine with me. It's better to be in a competitive division. It raises the bar. I've never been impressed by teams that go 9-7 and win their division and then get trounced in the first round of the playoffs.

I live in chi and listen to their sports stations here and there. Most of them are convinced the Bears are the team to beat it the division now. I personally thought Orton showed great potential last year and don't think Cutler is as much of an upgrade as many believe. They are better now, but not enough to matter, and not for very long (all their best players are only getting older). My two cents

I'll take those two cents. Anonymously or not.

CHI bums think the bears are the team to beat every year, so what's new. i do agree 100% with your take, nameless assassin. the only reason i "fear" the bears, is because they are a big time rival, and a divisional foe. division rivalries tend to bring out the best in the "lesser" team. you never know when a game cold get out of hand, like when we killed them last year, or when they beat us to the ground 2 years ago....never know..... anyways F--K 'em.
