Not Our Problem

favrevsrodgers

Last year we put up with the Favre situation and it was a pain for the fans.  Not the case this year.

If Favre comes back, we are mostly the same team from last year.  There won’t be a major transition at a key position like when Aaron took over.  Same core group, only improved(Raji, CM3).

If Favre plays for the Vikings – not our problem.

If Favre retires and mows the grass – not our problem.

All we can do is worry about ourselves.  We DO have some issues to address and the team should concentrate on those things, not Brett Favre.

We’re the Packers.  We’ll be fine.

Hell yeah!! The only thing I’m worried about is our aging secondary.

A bit nervous I must admit.

While I believe in these guys (3 of them made the pro bowl) I’m still wondering if Woody and Al are getting too old. I do love our depth on the corners; Williams is a very good back up and a solid starter if one of our good ol’ boys goes down, and I don’t mind Blackmon/Lee (I suspect Lee will be the 4th).

Our safety situation is a bit meeker. Is Collins going to show up and play? Is Bigby finally going to be healthy, is Rouse even going to make our team?? Smith who? I’ve got a little condensation on my under arms, and no I have not been eating hot wings.

Am I nervous about nothing? The secondary is the place on our D where I’ve said ‘we are fine’ but it’s always that ‘we’re fine position’ where you get an injury, and turns out to be a disaster. Remember going into last season? Our Defense is good, so even if Aaron R struggles a little bit we should still win some games. What happened?? I’m a little nervous!

ESPN kept on reporting about Favre going to Minn, to get revenge on the Packers. The funny thing was, they kept saying Packers, yet the Packers in no way shape or form really had the “sticky” feeling of continous media coverage, asking the same question over and over. Instead that fell to the Vikings, who now have to convince Tavaris and Sage, that what they did because they had promised a QB Competition and Favre would have screwed that up.

What did our QB do, it was reported that he took some QB Classes in the offseason and went to a gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas, where it looked like the girl was trying for a QB Sneak.

huh, nothing about how maybe we all jumped the gun on this a bit. Sounds like Childress never left Minnesota and they were seeking him out him than he was wanting to play.

Yessir, all true. We can only worry about what we can control, and TT seems to have it under control. But on the plus side, Favre may have realized what us Packer fans knew all along. Real Men Dont Wear Purple. GO PACK
