Nervous?

I don't know about you, but I am getting the Saturday jitters. In approximately twenty-four hours the Packers will start playing what many consider to be the biggest game of the year in the entire NFL.

It's hard to argue with the logic. The winner gains a great advantage in the division, while the loser potentially will see their playoff hopes ended by week nine. That to me is nothing short of huge.

I'm on edge today. No one wants to go to the Metrodome. We have been stellar the last five games up there, but if you're a statistics fan you have to be at least a little bit concerned.

I sincerely hope we shook off the rust this week, got a little bit healthier, and had a long and hard talk about play calling and smart decision making.

The situation for the Vikings is eerily similar, and you can best bet they will be bringing everything they have.

Can Grant get going against this stout defense? Will Aaron Rodgers put together a complete game? Will the offensive line do the same? Can the defense at least keep Adrian Peterson to a dull roar?

These are all questions that will be answered one way or another tomorrow.

It's making me nervous.

I'm with you on this one, Alex. The Packers have really devoured any sort of cushion they might have and are now in "must win" mode for almost all of the games left on the schedule. It is very doable with the talent they have and the schedule they face. But its also very not doable. For me, the biggest thing is Grant and the line need to start gelling again and get the Packers in a situation to do some nice clock management. The Defense is great and just needs to be rested, they held up until the very last moment last week. If Grant and the boys could get up to that century mark and keep the offense on the field, good things will happen.

Especially against the Vikings. Even with Gus taking snaps, they are a team that needs long sustained drives to score and rarely has the big play ability of a Rodgers and Jennings hook-up :D
