Yes Average. What do Carroll and Roman have to do with injuries? We haven’t seen it have an effect on the secondary.

Average? Because we got lucky with having Tramon and Rouse? If we had Ahmad Carroll and Mark Roman subbing for those injured guys, I think people might be pointing out that the injuries do indeed add up. Average?

I’de say the injuries we’ve had to deal with are average– especially considering that long list of injuries you pointed to in the secondary doesn’t mean anything since it’s probably the best unit in the league. “Devoured” is definitely an overstatement.

Second what IronMan said. There are times this team doesn’t even look like it went through training camp. Hangover of success for a young team and new coach? It’s possible.

I have to say Ironman is spot on. Even with the Injuries most of our games have been lost due to mental mistakes, all the games have been winable but due to a silly mistake or a stupid penelty we lose the games instead of win. I think this team just needs to get used to eachother and then we will be a top tier team.

If we eliminate the mental mistakes, we can play with anyone. If it weren’t for Poppinga slapping someone in the Tennessee game, and a few false starts in the Minnesota game, we would be 6-3.

Injuries are out of our control so that is no excuse. What we CAN control is how smart we play.

Play smart = we win
Play stupid= we lose

How’s that for some in depth analysis?
