Lately I’ve been hearing about Atari Bigby’s poor 2008 season. What a load of crap.
Some folks are actually worried about Bigby for 2009. They say he had a bad 2008 season. That makes me laugh.
Last season Atari was playing hurt, and when he wasn’t playing hurt he wasn’t playing at all because he was hurt.
He was injured in preseason and played hurt from that point on, when he did play, so does it really shock people that he wasn’t the 2007 Atari?
Oh, and that poor 2008 season, he only played 7 games. Yeah, he didn’t even play half a season due to his injury, and he played those 7 hurt. And we’re going to rag on him and worry about this?
I think I’m one of the few people concerned about our safety position. Bigby will have that Strong Safety spot locked up. Only injury will stop that.
At Free Safety, Collins will have it if he’s still on the team and smart enough to find Lambeau Field. If not, Rouse will be competing hard, and he has the talent to be a starting safety and the fact that he’s a backup makes me happy.
Maybe he can even start at strong safety since Atari Bigby sucks now. Jeez…
