In my search for any earth shattering news this morning, I ran into something I just don't get. It is a press release from Green Bay Promotionals that just doesn't make sense.

In addition to being poorly written, the press release has some strange things to say about Brett Favre.
The release states the following:

As well as to show their support for the area's dominating hero of the storied NFL team Green Bay Packers.
So, let me see if I have this straight. You are offering a discount on pens in order to support Brett Favre's return to the region to play for another NFL team?
I don't know who your marketing adviser is, but I am thoroughly confused on how this is going to help you sell any more post-it notes. Where do you want him to go?
Minnesota? Chicago? Detroit?
The last time I looked, those were the only teams in the "region" and also the three biggest rivals of your home town team.
If you want to attract Packer fans to your website, perhaps next time you should try supporting the area's dominating hero of the storied NFL team the Green Bay Packers'...

After reading it, I'm pretty sure that they want Favre to return to the Packers, but they don't want to just come right out and say it directly. Maybe it is not okay for a business to make suggestions about what another business (i.e., the Packers) should or should not do. It's still pretty weird, though. Maybe they are hoping to get some business from Favre fans.

The only reason Elmo posts here is because he gets a rise out of us getting mad at him. If you all want him to shut up just ignore him. This promotion is funny though, with all the success Rodgers had this year and with Favre showing he is just an old man, this is silly.
