Harrell Could Play

Harrell Could Play

Justin Harrell has a golden opportunity in front of him. Back at practice this week, the much disparaged defensive tackle may have one more chance to prove himself.

The big question is what he will do with it?

If I was a betting man, I would put almost everything I had on Justin being available this weekend. It his chance to start re-writing the legacy that hasn't been much of a legacy at all.

Coach McCarthy says he's ready.

"He's making progress. This is what he needs," to get into football shape. He just cannot get enough work. How much could he help? He would definitely part of the rotation. If we do go to him on the 53, I would foresee him being active on game day. In best shape he's been since coming to Green Bay."

Now being in the best shape since coming to Green Bay really isn't saying much at this point, but, if this is indeed the case, the young man from Tennessee will finally get one more shot to make a name for himself.

As a Packer fan I will welcome him onto the field with open arms. Although my fandom will have Harrell on a short leash, I wish him the best of luck. I hope for nothing more than to see the raw talent finally translate itself on the playing field.

This is your chance Justin - your chance to be Harrell or just heralded.

(Stay Tuned)
