Favre to the Vikes

Just when you thought it was over, it isn’t. Brett Favre is about to officially become a Minnesota Viking.
According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune:
“A Hattiesburg television station reported today that Favre boarded a plane this morning at the Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport. The plane was headed for St. Paul. Sources said Favre boarded by himself and commented, ‘We may know something by dinner.’”
Hope you enjoy an extra helping of ass wipe pie. Loser.

So it looks like, in the end, Favre is doing what I thought he would: Skip the first few weeks of training camp. He played Childress and the Vikings like a fiddle. What a liar.

This is now officially a circus. Favre wishy-washiest player in memory, Vikes his enablers. This is ridiculous.
It says a lot that Peter King has finally abandoned Favre. For one thing, King is the most gullible person in the world, so he was always willing to believe whatever crap Favre threw out there. Also, I’ve always suspected that King had hopes of someday co-writing Favre’s autobiography. If that ever was the case, it looks like he’s given up on it.
Yeah. I was pretty sickened by King’s position in the whole thing. But now he has regained some sense, after Favre toyed with him…
I agree with IronMan. The flight from Hattiesburg to Minneapolis is just about long enough for him to change his mind.

“Darrell Bevell was the quarterbacks coach in Green Bay from 2003-2005. Interestingly, Brett took a while to warm up to Bevell – Darrell had to earn Brett’s respect as a young coach with little experience, and Brett had a hard time listening to him.
Will he still have a hard time listening to him?
