It's the time of year where I blatantly beg for donations as has been tradition since The Packers Lounge has been opened. Bend over while I pucker up.

Seriously though, I am going to keep it short and sweet this year with minimal drama. As usually happens around this time of year, the bills start to come due. As usual I can't pay them. It's a combination of being a student, living from pay-check to pay-check, and of course spending way too much time at the Lounge working for free. That unfortunately is the life of a blogger.

I went around to quite a few sites today and noticed a lot of VIP memberships, pay-for-subscriptions, and other things of that nature I will always refuse to do. Although I have remained relatively ad free, you will notice an increase this year as things get tighter and more expensive. I apologize for the pain in the ass that ads can be, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I don't think you can really pay and get any more Packer news than you can get for free, with perhaps the exception of anything Greg Bedard runs. I have always felt this way, and will always continue to offer free content until the day they shut me down.

For those of you who have donated, I really have never really taken the time to publicly thank you. Your donations have saved the site on more than one occasion, and for that I am grateful. I can't give you a subscription, or a panelist pass, or really anything worth two shits at all. What I can do is remember your name, and put it on a wall to show my gratitude. Words cannot express.
