Even though I could care less about the teams, I have to admit I am still excited for the Super Bowl. It's the last week of football for awhile, and the last chance to make and NFL pick for 2009. Who am i taking?
Hello again Packer fans. After a brief hiatus to re-introduce myself to the wife and kids, I am back to once again discuss all things Packers. I have had several weeks to digest the Packers playoff loss to the Cardinals and their season, in general.
I apologize for the lack of updates around here lately. I have been dealing with a personal family issue lately that is both sad and extremely depressing. I really loved her and it is hard to accept what is happening. The truth is we barely know each other anymore.
While everyone else continues to salivate over potential free-agents, I continue my two-a-day grade series for the 2009 Green Bay Packers season. Next up, Cullen Jenkins and Greg Jennings.
Since everyone else is getting their grades in for the end of the season, I better do the same. Around here, we are doing two-a-days, one player from the offense and one from the defense. Let's start with our offensive and defensive leaders.
Once again tonight we broadcast LIVE with our second edition of "Around the Lounge." You've all seen Around The Horn on the four letter network, here we do it lounge style. Be prepared to "Shut your Box and Go."
Now that the Packers are out of contention, people have been bold enough to start asking me who I think is going to walk away with the Lombardi. As you know my luck is no good, so I always consult our friends at BETUS.com Sportsbook for advice. Here's what they're saying.
Looking back on the Green Bay Packers 2009 season, I would call it a season of fulfilled potential. Yearning to bounce back from a 6-10 record in 2008, the Packers seemed to have all their ducks in a row. An excellent draft, outstanding preseason and a supposedly easy schedule over the first half of the season.
It all comes together tonight. The first ever LIVE and full version of "Around the Lounge." You've all seen Around The Horn on the four letter network, now we are going to do it lounge style. Be prepared to "Shut your Box and Go."
It was Monday, November 9th at 2:25PM. The " Tragedy in Tampa" had occurred less than 24 hours ago. The Packers offense had just finished watching the film of that very ugly game.
"I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious."
