Announcement From the Packers Hall of Fame

An announcement from the Packers Hall of Fame

I received an email today from the Packers Hall of Fame and figured I would share with everyone:

***  Packers Fans Anywhere Able To Attend Live Teleseminar Hosted By Two Noted Experts On The History Of The Green Bay Packers ***

Two authorities on the history of the Packers are holding a telephone conference call on Friday, August 12th at 10:00 AM Central Time. Packers Fans everywhere are welcome to listen in by calling a private phone number available at: www.packershalloffame.com/event.

Tom Murphy, the official archivist of the Packers Hall of Fame since 1998 and Dr. James Hurly, a lifelong Packers fan who has spent thousands of hours doing in-depth research on the Packers will be interviewed by Rich Fercy of the Packers Hall of Fame.

Hurly and Murphy have recently published Green Bay: A City And Its Team, a comprehensively-researched book that chronicles football history in the Packers home town from 1895 to 2011. The authors take specific dates in Packers history over the last 116 years and provide a detailed narrative almost like watching a film of each selected day.

The teleconference provides Hurly and Murphy the opportunity to share their favorite Packers stories from yesteryear with fans from throughout the world. People can register for this special call on August 12th at 10:00 AM Central Time by going to: www.packershalloffame.com/event.

Green Bay: A City And Its Team is available for purchase at www.packershalloffame.com/hurly

If you are a Packers history buff, this should make for an interesting listen this Friday.
