As a fan of the Green Bay Packers, I have the same concerns that many of you do thus far in preseason.
The Packers are 0-2 in the preseason.
The starting offense has not looked quite like the juggernaut it was in 2011.
Graham Harrell has looked nothing like the former backup QB, Matt Flynn.
They are decimated by injuries.
They have no running game.
Some of their backup offensive linemen leave a lot to be desired.
High draft picks have been a little slow out of the gate.
Mason Crosby missed a field goal.
I’m sure I missed a few of the concerns that are floating around out there. Please let me know what the other issues are.
Well, I’m always thinking of fellow Packer fans.
I was cleaning out my garage this morning, and I came across something I wanted to share with all of you. It is appropriate considering the somewhat dismal showing the Packers have given their first 2 preseason games.
Here is my gift to all of you:
I would advise everyone to cut this out, and keep it handy. Every time a player throws a bad pass, or drops a pass, or misses a tackle, or commits a penalty, push the button with the vigor of a thousand fans, making sure everyone knows you are worried about your Green Bay Packers.
Just remember to say the following mantra after pressing the panic button:
It’s still preseason.
