Wuerffel Among Two Packers Named to College Football Hall of Fame

Former Packers quarterback Danny Wuerffel and end Steve Meilinger were named to the College Football Hall of Fame class of 2013 on Tuesday.

Wuerffel played for Florida and won the Heisman Trophy in 1996. He was a backup to Brett Favre for one season in Green Bay in 2000.

Meilinger played for Kentucky in the early fifties and then for the Packers from 1958 to 1960.

More on the class of 2013, including Wisconsin running back Ron Dayne, can be found at the website of the National Football Foundation.
