Word on the Street: Veteran Players Excused from Thursday's Packers Minicamp

According to Jennifer Ann Wilson, a reporter at WBAY in Green Bay, it appears as if veteran players will be getting the day off from Thursday's final Packers minicamp practice:

Word apparently came from cornerback Tramon Williams, who was spotted at the airport.

In the past, Mike McCarthy has given select veterans the occasional day off from training camp, typically players who have six or seven years of service or more.

Whether that's the case today remains to the be seen.
