Woodson, Matthews & Sitton Back At Practice

Marks the first time Matthews and Woodson have participated in a padded practice in nearly a month.

Thursday's have traditionally (if seven weeks is long enough to build a tradition) been the day when Packers head coach Mike McCrathy chooses to hold his one padded practice.

(The new collective bargaining agreement requires that padded practices be limited to one per week prior to a certain point later in the season, although there is a provision where teams can hold two padded practices for one week only during the week of their choosing. Yes. It's ridiculous. Thanks NFLPA.)

According to both Kareen Copeland of the Green Bay Press Gazette and Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Charles Woodson, Clay Matthews and Josh Sitton all returned to practice today and participated in the padded environment.

As Tom points out, for Matthews and Woodson it is the first time in a little over a month since they have participated in a padded practice.

Sitton had missed yesterdays practice due to a knee injury. He had battled an ankle injury last week.

JSOnline reports that Mike Neal was seen doing some cone drills in the Hudson Center.

That would be just great considering Vandermause went out of his way during his GBPG chat today to field a 'plethora' of questions about Mike Neal (all of which were basically the same) and subtly throw some dirt on his grave for the 2011 season.

I'm an admitted sadist when it comes to Vandermause and his 'insight'. I'm deeply flawed, I admit it.....

What I really want is everybody healthy to face Detroit at Thanksgiving.

We can handle everybody else just fine.

Never thought I would be saying that about Detroit... But that's the most important game of the regular season.

This may or may not be ignorant hyperbole, but I'd venture to guess that Charles Woodson has suited up for more games than he has practices during his time in Green Bay (at least since 2007).
