“I hope that with every penny they’ve spent on me, they know it was money well spent,” he said. “It wasn’t about the money or fame or records. I hear people talk about your accomplishments and things. It was never my accomplishments, it was our accomplishments.”

I don’t know who was crying harder, Brett or me.

I swear we all need group therapy right now. I still can’t believe that he’s actually left the game. He said that now he knows what it is like to be dead, and it certainly feels like a death. I think I’m in the denial stage right now. I’m just so bummed about this. We are not going to see someone like Favre for a long, long time, if ever.

I knew it was eventually going to happen… but this just doesn’t feel right.

Bummed is the perfect word… I am incredibly bummed.
