Vince Young Accepts Split-Minimum Contract with Packers
Details of Vince Young's one year contract with the Packers are now public.
Vince Young suffered the indignity of a "split" contract with #Packers. His minimum base of $715,000 falls to $383,000 if he lands on IR. — Bob McGinn (@BobMcGinn) August 7, 2013
The contract structure is similar to the same one the Packers signed another former Texas Longhorn, RB Cedric Benson, to last season.

Almost $400k if he ends up sitting with an injury all year, after being unemployed last season... What an indinity. Shut up, Bob!

That contract has become the standard used by the Packers with veterans they want to take a chance on. Benson, Jolly and now Young all have the same structure.

I was at practice today and he had a bad start to say the least! VY
But as time went on, after his scramble for a first down in the red zone, up the middle and looked good, he put a awesome rainbow to the corner for Ross, but Ross fell down as the pass hit him in his hands, incomplete.
Vy poblems at this point, is the short timing routes, BJ has the same problem.
He seems to have a nice touch down field.
Just sayin.
