Video: “Get Your Hat Across”

This is a pretty straight forward drill, designed to reinforce proper tackling technique. I kept the sound in because I love hearing the assistants yelling "Get your hat across!" which is in reference to the guy making the tackle needing to get his head across the numbers of the ball carrier. This is taught at the very earliest levels of football, all the way down to Pop Warner, and its good to see the reinforcement here. The video goes a little long, but I had to leave in Donald Driver's rep if for no other reason than it's hilarious. The guy is a natural showman and always has the crowd laughing. Good times.
