When confronted with the wife wanting to watch Pride and Prejudice (or Lipstick Jungle, or the Bachelor, or any number of things I could never sit through…well, ok, the BBC Pride and Prejudice is actually excellent, but you get my drift) the correct response is: “That’s great honey. I’m going to go play Madden, I’ll see you when the movie/show is over.”
