Three Things to Watch: Green Bay Packers at St. Louis Rams

Both teams are looking to bounce back from some disappointing losses in Week 1 of the preseason, with the Green Bay Packers trying to get some offense going while the St. Louis Rams had some offense, but weren't able to be consistent with it.

While it's hard to read too much into preseason, neither team wants to go 0-2.

Here are three things to watch when the teams play tonight at 8pm EST Saturday night.

1) The Packers continue to be looking for their lead back to run the ball, but will finally see Eddie Lacy in uniform Saturday night. While they seemed to hedge their bets by selecting UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin two rands after Lacy, but they clearly like the back from Alabama. There's also James Starks and Alex Green as well as currently injured DuJuan Harris. The Packers don't tend to pick just one back these days, instead riding the hot hand. We'll see if Lacy takes the lead tonight though.

2) The Rams struggled a bit last week offensively and that's definitely a concern for a unit which retooled completely this offseason. While you can't expect rookies like Tavon Austin to be perfect immediately, the unit as a whole has expectations too high to look stagnant. The Rams need Sam Bradford to improve this season—he has the tools and now we find out if he can deliver on the promise of talent he had coming out just a few years ago.

3) The Packers are also looking for defensive answers again—both in the secondary as well as in the pass rush. While the starters may not see tons of time up front, it could be the rookies and role players who need to step up this year. They need to start doing it now, though.

Micah Hyde looking good and Jolly not looking too shabby. Our offense needs to find the endzone because we sure can't rely on Clubfoot Crosby.
