Why is it that the Packers always close the exhibition season against the Titans? It’s always so disheartening watching Jeff Fisher’s club out hustle and out hit the crap out of the Pack just before the regular season begins…
How many years running is this already? I`m sick of the Titans too!!!
Eighth straight year!
Did you forget about last years preseason game already?? Even though we lost, it was an exciting game in the end. Flynn almost won the game for us. Also, if we do beat them, it is a huge moral booster because the Titans play their starters a lot longer.
I would love to see the deal these two teams have made to be playing each other for 8 straight times. If they are looking for some sort of rivalry to begin between these two, forget it.
A Rog good take on calling out the fact that Fisher does keep his starters in longer then us.
Does Ted Thompson and Mike Reinfeldt’s friendship have something to do with it?
Its not a good match for the last game of the season. Fisher thinks the last game is the momentum builder for the season while most every other coach thinks its the game to rest your starters and final evaluation for cut-downs. It pretty much guarantees that the Packers will lose.
The pack should play them sooner in pre-season. I think the Pack likes to play them because they so seldom see them in the season?
McCarthy alluded to re-evaluating playing them the 4th game of the season last year…..
Dave – I wondered the same thing, but it still wouldn’t explain all the years prior to Thompson’s tenure..
Wasn’t it against the Titans last year that the packers offensive starters were one and done with a first play touchdown pass to Jennings?
That was awesome.
It was indeed.
Ludicrous. And I can’t remember a single time we’ve beaten them. C’mon TT, mix it up.
