The Strangest Day In The History Of The NFL Has Arrived.

Some players are set to report to work, where their coaches have been told not to speak to them. Welcome to the NFL.

While the NFL waits to see if a stay will be granted on Judge Nelson's ruling lifting the league's lockout of its players, the decertified union, acting only as a trade association now, has suggested to its players that they report to work this morning.

Many reports have said that most players from most teams are taking a wait and see approach, including the Packers.

However, many players with offseason workout bonuses at risk have reportedly decided to head into work this morning. At first the league indicated that they would not be opening the doors to players - until it was realized that this would be in direct violation of the courts order. So, as Adam Schefter reports, they will open the doors - but that's it:

NFL Managment Council told teams to let players into their buildings Tuesday, but also recommended keeping weight rooms closed.

Word is that coaching staffs have been told not to speak to any player who reports to work this morning.

The strangest day in the history of the NFL has arrived.

Wow I have been treated that way before. Just went to my cage and did my job.

This has got to be the most bizarre year I have seen in football. But once this is done, watch out, things will be on the fast track. Now that will be exciting!

Right, or maybe five year olds who are bickering over who got the bigger cupcake and now they won't talk. Too bad the parties involved have to dump their issues on the coaches.

I have a feeling the owners will have some 'splainin to do, as well as some financial damages to pay when this is all over.

This all boils down to revenue sharing. Until the billionaires can figure out exactly what they want they won't give ground to the players on the CBA. (why compromise your financials when you can take it out of someone else's)

Ridiculous.
