I almost always agree with your verbal comments about the players, but not with the grades. BTW, grades are hard!

Davante Adams, with 2 receptions for 17 yards and one bad drop (for 21 yards and a 1st down on a 3rd down play that killed a drive) and being unable to secure another pass for 15 in the red zone should get a D-. He is not going up against opponent's #1 or #2 CB.

Are you grading Linsley on a curve now? He was perfect in pass protection, and a bit up and down in run blocking. Surely that projects to a C+ or B-?

Richard Rodgers' grade seems generous. He is playing better. His run blocking has improved but he missed at least two IIRC. 2 receptions on 3 targets, for 13 yards, with a drop, is nothing to write home about. I would have suggested a B-.

I saw some of the PFF grades (not that those grades shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt).

PFF charged Linsley with the sack that occurred due to the miscommunication of the left side of the line. Thus, Linsley was not perfect in pass protection as I indicated. Knew he had some problems in run blocking. His grade was -4.0, including -3.4 run blocking. (The -3.4 seems harsh, given how well we ran for the most part, but Starks had a bad day, and Starks was downgraded for his vision/making wrong choices. My grade is much too high. PFF probably agrees more with you, Mr. Nagler.

PFF gave Adams a -1.1, and gave R. Rodgers a -0.8. Seems like PFF thought all of my grades except maybe Adams were too high.
