The Goods On the Opposition

the-goods-on-the-opposition

This week’s Opposition Research: Tampa Bay Bucs is up. One of my favorite excerpts from Holly’s post: “In 1997, the Bucs changed their uniforms to the now-familiar “red-and-pewter” combination. Within a few years, they shook off their orange-and-awful past and won Super Bowl XXXVII. So what are they doing on Sunday, in order to move past their miserable 0-7 start? Putting the creamsicle orange back on. Yeah, it makes no sense to me, either.”

The easiest game of the Pack schedule whatever combination they wear!!!

I’ll throw back some beers in Tampa this weekend. I can’t wait.

  5. Ron La Canne says:

This should be a scrimage. There is total disarray in Tampa. It is time to make a run at closing the season successfully. Let’s hope the psychological barrier called the Queens has been put aside and a new disciplined, aggressive, smart football team takes the field for the remainder of the year.

  6. Holly says:

You’ll be at the game, bomdad? Have a great time! Hopefully Ron is right and the Packers come out strong.

Don’t overlook Tampa Bay. At 4-3, we have no right to look past anybody.

  8. PACKERS says:

As usual, the research is great :) . Again, the most important thing will be keeping Rodgers on his feet long enough to throw a pass, or GET RID OF THE BALL every once in a while.

I don’t like this thing about Tampa being a mostly run offense. The Packers have not played very well against the run, although all three losses were against AP and Cedric Benson. By the way, I love how stupid the bears look now that he’s playing pretty darn well :)

So basically it’s just bout keepig Aaron on his feet, and Aarons own judgement, an the Pack should be all right in this one. Go PACKERS.

    Great summary.
Beware, trap game. They’re rested, ready to take on someone they think they can beat. Josh Freeman, for all his 6’6″ is pretty mobile and a good passer, although a rookie.
    That said, go Pack.

  10. Jim in DC says:

The Packers must’ve been looking past the 0-fer Bucs. D’oh!

Pitiful, just plain pitiful. We need some major changes next season. Top to bottom. Major changes.
