Great play. Nice to watch the whole thing. Looked like the original hole was to be over left guard, they pulled the RT to the left side. In addition to having four guys lined up left of center. Watch Pickett (you really wont see him, just the two guys he pushes back) and Hawk (fills the hole that might have been the target). The pulling tackle gets slowed by Pickett's surge.

watch what the 2 rookies do on that play, Mathews and the pursuit of #59 Jones coming down the line. Hawk forced the running back to take it to the outside. It almost looks like if the running back would have turned up field he would have scored, but Woodson filled that gap to force the running back to go farther to the outside.

Greatest play I've seen in some time. Its even better when it led to a pick on the next play. Would have hated to see it go for naught.
BTW, in an earlier post PACKERS said Sunday's game was moved to 3:00. I can't find confirmation anywhere. I don't want to fly all that way just to miss the game. Anybody know for sure?

Agree that others were handling their business on that play but who was contain? Without a superhuman effort by Woodson, the RB walks into the endzone.

I've heard people say this wasn't impressive bc it wasn't an open field tackle. My reply, "Have you no decency."

As great a play by Woodson to finish it, Hawks penatration in that gap to force the running back to the outside realy broke up he play. This is coming from a person who wanted Hawk traded before the deadline. A geat one-two punch.

scrump, Woodson had contain. Collins probably runs with the FB thats blocking him. CM3 was blocked pretty well by some dude with a 60's number, ie not a TE. Collins took on the lead blocker, Woodson would have been unblocked. What makes the play so great is the tackle for a loss instead of another 1 yd to go scenario.
You guys are joking, right? McGahee could have run in with his eyes closed if it wasn't for Woodson. He saved the TD and that's why it's so special.

Great play by Woodson. I'm glad others noticed. None of the highlights I've seen show it.
Those of you who think it saved a touchdown, however, should take deep breaths, wipe the spittle from your monitors and watch again.
Collins gets off the block of the FB about the same time McGahee goes down and is in good position to either hold him up and wait for help from Jones, or make the tackle himself.
Woodson made a remarkable play where a good one would have sufficed. That's what makes him a football god.
