We all know tendered guys don't ususally go anywhere. That said, if I was on a team with lousy corners (Vikings, Lions) I'd probably call Shields' agent. If I was a team with a lot of extra picks that is not real thick at the CB position(49ers) I'd probably call Shields' agent. Worst case scenario, you drive up the cap number for a rival.

He won't be on the team next year anyways. This team will have no $ cuz it will all be tied up in Rodgers, Mathews, and Raji.

Raji is getting nothing. He is gone unless he shows up this year. Last year was a total disappointment and the year before too.
I betting we lose Mathews and or Rogers plays out his contract. He wasn't happy about the lack of O line help. If he feels this team is not going to protect him, who knows?

Its possible that Shields very well might get picked up but albeit a second pick is pretty high and DB's seem to be readily available this year but one thing, you never have enough good ones on your team.
I'm thinking of a team with maybe two seconds, a third and a first looking for a quality player on the cheap? Could Happen.
What a loss this would be. Toss in EDS and Jones leaving and you've got disaster in the making
