Russ Feingold Rules
Caught this little tidbit today while searching around on Twitter for any free agent news. U.S. Senator Russ Feingold from Wisconsin is duking it out for Packer fans.
In a great little blog post this morning, Feingold is said to be fighting for the rights of Northern Wisconsin citizens unable to watch Packer games on their satellite television because of marketing agreements.
The complete article appears here in the JS Online blog but, the Feingold blog highlighted a couple of great lines:
"Asked about his quest to make Packers games available to all Wisconsinites, Feingold called it his "top priority."
"I thought I got a very good shot off at the Vikings today so I feel like I've done something," he said."
"Russ Feingold: Senator, Statesman, Packers Fan."
He fights for Packers fans, takes pot shots at the Vikings, and directly influences my tax rates.
Russ... you got my vote.
