Running Back Eddie Lacy Sidelined at Packers Practice
Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been hampered by a bum ankle ever since spraining it in a game against the Atlanta Falcons on Dec. 8.
Lacy missed the first two days of practice last week before returning last Friday and then playing in the Packers' victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Even with an ankle that's less than 100 percent, Lacy was still able to rush for 141 this past weekend, which earned him the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week Award.
But Lacy was back on the sidelines once again as practice opened in Green Bay on Wednesday, as they started preparations for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
From Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com:
#Packers not practicing: RB Eddie Lacy, LB Eddie Lacy, LB Brad Jones, TE Brandon Bostick, LB Mike Neal, DT Johnny Jolly.

In a note of good news, defensive lineman C.J. Wilson returned to practice for the first time in three weeks after being inactive the past two games with an ankle injury.

Probably could be.

Lacy seeing more action in the games than is good for him, so cutting back on practice probably a good thing

Keep Neal out of practice. Seems like every week he misses practice, he makes a huge play in a game.

Hampered yet able to break off a 60 yarder and gain 141 total. I'll take "hampered" every day of the week as long as he can do THAT on Sundays.
