Rodgers Is Sixth-Highest Paid Athlete in the World in 2013 at $49 M

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came in sixth on the recently released Forbes' annual list of the highest-paid athletes in the world in 2013.

Rodgers reportedly made $49 million, including endorsements, in the past calendar year.

According to Forbes, he made $43 million in salary and $6 million in endorsements. Rodgers' endorsement money is dwarfed by others on the top 10 list, although football players in general don't make nearly as much endorsement money as the golfers, soccer players and basketball players on the list.

Outside linebacker Clay Matthews checks in at 53rd on the list at $28.1 million.

Tiger Woods is the world's highest-paid athlete at $78.1 million in 2013.
