Report: X-Rays Negative On Cobb’s Ankle

X-rays on receiver Randall Cobb’s injured ankle were negative, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
An MRI will be conducted on Monday. Currently, it’s not believed that Cobb has any significant damage.
This is, obviously, excellent news.

When X-rays show ligaments… I’ll give a pluck. Here’s hoping the MRI says nothing is wrong. Florio seemed confident on SNF that Cobb would be available for the postseason, if not next week, but, I just don’t listen to Florio… As a general rule… Very general.

I’m torn about Cobb on ST. People clamor to get the ball in his hands more, that’s one way. He’s exceptional at what he does back there… BUT, He’s clearly turned into Rodgers’ “guy”. Idk, i’m good with whatevs coach comes up with. I’ve finally realized, he knows slightly more than I do about foosball.

They now have another good returner in Ross. Cobb hasn’t been that close to breaking a return anyway. Keep him doing what he has been doing well. That is catching passes from Rodgers. No need to risk him on returns.
Agreed. Ross sure helped himself yesterday. Showed he can handle himself back there and showed some flash on the first return and good hands on the second.
Not sold on Ross yet. Had couple chances against a really bad team when they already were headed to the locker room. I don’t take cobb just yet!!!
Cobb won’t be returning kicks much longer, but that won’t happen until next season. Right now his return game is an important part of the overall package. Field position is too critical in the playoffs, and he is the best bet to keep that in the Pack’s favor.
Bull, he is the go to receiver that driver was let him sit out the returns.
