Harris joins quarterback Matt Flynn among players the Packers will reportedly not be bringing back in 2015.

It appears running back DuJuan Harris will not return to the Green Bay Packers in 2015, according to a report from Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Harris was used sparingly on offense by the Packers this past season, carrying the football just 16 times for 64 yards (4.0 ypc) and adding just one reception, not finding the end zone once.

Special teams was Harris' biggest role, although he struggled mightily, ranking 20 out of 21 qualified kick returners, averaging just 20.7 yards per attempt.

When Harris was originally acquired as a street free agent in 2012, he flashed, carrying the football a combined 62 times for 257 yards between the regular season and postseason, scoring four touchdowns and adding nine receptions.

Unfortunately for Harris, he followed that up by spending the entire 2013 season on injured reserve with a torn patellar tendon in his knee.

Harris is not the only player with whom the Packers are reportedly parting ways. They also will apprently be passing on signing backup quarterback Matt Flynn.

I really thought he'd have more success as a KR.

I knew that wouldn't work. I wanted Janis back there.

But maaaaan, did I like him as a threat in the backfield. He gets north/south so quickly. There's no hesitation with him (well, at least before last season).

I hate to hear this. Well, let's see who we go after at RB in the draft!.... In Ted We Trust!

Until he pisses us off..

Or makes us impatient because we don't know what he is up to..

Speaking of, would love to see Justin Smith in GB for one last season. See if Datone could learn a thing or two.

Do you honestly think Jones has any chance of being anything in the NFL? --- I see him playing out his rookie contract with GB & then passing into oblivion like so many others have in the NFL. --- He hit his ceiling playing at UCLA.

I meaaaaan, at times he looks pretty good rushing the passer??? He HAS to do more though. I'd really like to see our D-Line in sync and give consistent performances week in and week out. Just imagine a '10 BJ Raji with a Mike Daniels of today?

Is Raji even in the picture anymore? --- That someone who will step-up on the DL in 2015 isn't even on the roster at this moment (IMO). --- FA signing or a surprise draft choice. --- Daniels needs some help from somewhere if the D will be feared by anyone outside the NFC North.

There is a once in a generation Defensive Lineman who happens to be a free agent right now. He and a healthy Raji could have made the Packer's greatest weakness the most feared and best front 7 in football . F Marshawn Lynch in the 4th quarter. Superbowl almost a guarantee.

Sure it's nice to have Cobb back. But even without him the Packer's have 5 receivers as good as James Jones ever was right now. And sure Bulaga is a very good right tackle. But OL is very deep and a very solid strength with or without him. With the glaring problems at DT and ILB , and with so few options to really address those problems, WIth where Suh plays and how he plays there and just the fact that he was even available, Suh was a kind of perfect storm opportunity for the Packers. An absolute no brainer.

Also should have tendered Dujuan Harris for 1.4. He not a very good KR, never was. But he is an EXTREMELY talented 3 down back.

This is the worst draft class in many years. ILB's, S's, TE's, Qb's & FB's are all junk.

Suh is overrated. Some day whichever team signs him will regret spending so much money on that lazy dirty jerk.

He's signing for $18 or $19 million in a state that doesn't have a state tax! Signing Suh would cripple the Packers cap for years. The Lions offered him a deal that was about $1.5 or $2 million less per year and he said no. Suh is ALL about the $$$.

"Is Raji even in the picture anymore? "

I would think so. He's coming back on another "prove it" deal.
