Report: Packers Adding Mike Solari to Coaching Staff
More Packers coaching staff changes are coming. On Monday, Fox Sports reported that the 49ers offensive line coach, Mike Solari, is set to join the Packers.
"Solari, 60, has 28 years of NFL coaching experience with five different franchises. Solari spent the past five seasons with the 49ers, which fielded one of the league’s most prolific rushing attacks during that span."
The Packers have not announced the move, nor what position Solari will coach, but the Packers do have an opening at assistant offensive line coach after Steve Marshall left to join the staff of the New York Jets.

Seems like a nice move on paper.

The strength of the 49er offense was their o-line. I like adding the coach that presided over that to the staff.

I don't disagree, but would like to point out that their best players also play on the OL. Lots of talent on that OL. But I am kind of curious to see as to what exactly he will be doing with the Packers - I find it hard to believe that someone as accomplished as he is comes in as assistant OL coach. But we will all see.

Great move. He knows the 9ers inside and out.
