Report: Cobb Should Be Ready For Opener
FOX Sports' Alex Marvez reports that the veteran wide reciever should be ready when the Packers take on the Bears in the season opener.
By PackerAaron
An NFL source told FOX Sports on Tuesday that all “indicators” point to Cobb being able to play after he suffered an A/C sprain during Saturday night’s preseason game against Philadelphia.
“He’s going to be fine,” the source said. “He feels good about it.”
Not exactly Earth shattering stuff here, but good to read.
Every encouraging report on Cobb is a welcome one at this point.

As a long time fan this is great news. At least Rogers will have several targets and one that knows the routes.

I'm confident we would handle duh bared sans Cobb, glad we won't have to go that route.

Sweet. Let's keep in mind that this is the preseason and teams will not be rolling out a vanilla defense against the Eagles once the season begins.
“I don't think people have game-planned for us, nor have we game-planned for them,” Kelly said. “I think we're all trying to get our players to get opportunities on film where you can teach them off of and also make full evaluations of guys.”
