The Baltimore Ravens agreed to a three-year, $8 million deal with defensive lineman Chris Canty, who was in Green Bay last week for an official free-agent visit.
Canty did the reporting of his new deal over Twitter.

The deal includes $2.8 million in guaranteed money. However, the Packers were likely never a part of any serious negotiations for the free agent five-technique.
Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette spoke with a Packers source who said the team did not offer Canty a deal during last week's visit because of "medial concerns." A knee injury forced Canty from seven games last season.
Over four years in New York, Canty registered nine sacks, but also missed 15 games.
