Railbird Central Podcast: Rookie Minicamp Recap
The fallout from the team's recent rookie minicamp is discussed, including the odds of the Packers signing Colt Lyerla.
Episode 397
The Packers' annual rookie minicamp took place this past weekend, and we take a look at what transpired. The discussion is dominated by the tryout of former Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla, and I lay out the reasons why the Packers should sign him to a contract. The risk at this point is minimal, although it increases greatly if he were to make the 53-man roster.
Enjoy.

I really enjoy cheesehead tV. BUT BUT BUT-
The next time you begin talking any person's legal problems or drug problems you should do your homework... or stop yourself from talking about it. You didn't know about Colt's real problems. YOu kept saying " shouldn't be talking about this." PLease if you have another conversation about someone's personal life.. and you haven't done your homework..you might want to listen to yourself.

I said nothing inaccurate about either his legal or drug problems. I acknowledged on the show about not knowing about his family situation. That was the only thing I was uncertain about and fully admitted it. I did not keep saying "shouldn't be talking about this" and did in fact, never say it once.
