Are the players complaining about the field? I hope not. That's a huge distraction that nobody can do anything about. They need to keep their focus on the things they can control.

One of my worst memories of the Sherman era was watching the Packers get manhandled by a terrible Cardinal's team in Arizona. Just beaten up. The weather was scorching hot and Sherman decided to bring some cooling tubes which the player would cram down their pants on the sidelines.

After getting their asses kicked on the field each unit would indifferently trot to the sidelines and stick a tube down their drawers. It seemed like the players were far more focused on the conditions than the game. Nobody wanted to be there.

The point is: the conditions are the conditions. Get over it and play football.

I so remember that. Huge fans and cooling tubes. Totally agree here.

Agreed about Soldier Field. The problem is it's filled with Bears fans- who are also Cubs fans-not Sox and that's a big difference and all the more reason to wave down to them as the Pack flies to Dallas.
